Architectural Precast Manufacturing Process
Precast is a minimum 4" thick concrete panel system that looks like many natural stones and granites by exposing the beautiful aggregates within the mix designs. Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete is made of a 1" thick cementitious skin, reinforced with alkali resistant glass fibers, and attached to a metal stud frame system. GFRC can be formed into ornate shapes, and its light weight provides many benefits for high rise buildings. Thinshell is made of a 2" thick concrete skin attached to a metal stud frame system that achieves the beauty of precast mixes and can do so at a lower cost and lighter weight than traditional precast.
